  1. Gladden Pappin's resignation from Hungary's foreign-affairs institute is accepted

    Hungarian Foreign Minister Anita Orbán accepted Gladden Pappin's resignation as head of the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs on 31 July 2026; on 3 August the ministry named Botond Feledy as director general and returned the institute to ministry supervision (Telex, Hungarian Conservative).
