    Polity published Adrian Vermeule's Common Good Constitutionalism, which drew critical reviews from originalist and natural-law scholars in the Harvard Law Review and Notre Dame Law Review, and from Randy Barnett (Volokh Conspiracy).

  1. Adrian Vermeule proposes "common-good constitutionalism" in The Atlantic

    In a March 2020 essay in The Atlantic, Harvard law professor Adrian Vermeule argued that originalism had outlived its usefulness for conservatives and proposed a constitutionalism directed toward the common good. The Atlantic published rebuttals by Garrett Epps and Randy Barnett days later (ABA Journal, Harvard Crimson, RNS).
