    The board of Catholic Family News, the traditionalist monthly long edited by John Vennari, announced that its December 2025 issue would be its last and that The Fatima Center USA would preserve the paper's archive.

  1. Pope Francis consecrates Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

    During a penitential service at St Peter's, with a parallel act at Fátima, Francis consecrated Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart. The Fatima Center called the ceremony solemn but said it was not the consecration Our Lady had requested.

  1. Fr. Nicholas Gruner, founder of The Fatima Center, dies

    Nicholas Gruner, who founded the Fatima Crusaders (now The Fatima Center) in 1978 and whose canonical suspension was disputed for years, died while working in the Center's office in Fort Erie, Ontario.

2000

  1. Vatican publishes the third part of the Fatima secret with Ratzinger's commentary

    The CDF document The Message of Fatima published all three parts of the secret with a theological commentary by Cardinal Ratzinger, who wrote that no great mystery is revealed. The Fatima Center and its founder Nicholas Gruner disputed that the disclosure was complete.
