About Stilum Curiae

Stilum Curiae is an Italian-language blog edited by the journalist Marco Tosatti, a long-time correspondent for the Turin daily La Stampa. The site presents itself as a blog of information and opinion on religious and other subjects and says it is funded by voluntary donations from readers (Stilum Curiae). It mainly publishes in Italian but has also posted in other languages, for example a 2023 message in Spanish addressed to the 'Stilum Curiae community' (Stilum Curiae).

Addresses. The blog's archive on marcotosatti.com reaches back to at least March 2018 (archive, March 2018). On 14 October 2022 it announced it had moved to stilumcuriae.com, with the earlier site kept online as an archive (Stilum Curiae). Links shared on Tosatti's Telegram channel in 2026 still point to marcotosatti.com addresses, so both domains appear in use (Telegram).

Profile. The Associated Press has described Tosatti as a leading conservative critic of Pope Francis and reported in 2018 that he then wrote largely for more conservative blogs and newspapers (AP via Fox News). In August 2018, after the AP reported that Tosatti had helped edit Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò's testimony accusing Pope Francis over the McCarrick case, Tosatti confirmed his role in a note on his blog, according to the Mexican daily Vanguardia (Vanguardia).

Status. The blog was active in 2026.
