Dr. Taylor Marshall Podcast

The Dr. Taylor Marshall Podcast is a Catholic commentary programme hosted by author Taylor Marshall and broadcast primarily on his YouTube channel (Wikipedia). It covers Church news, history and doctrine from a traditionalist perspective and has been a prominent platform for criticism of Church leaders; Marshall's Wikipedia biography says he openly criticises members of the hierarchy, including Pope Leo XIV (Wikipedia).

The show's profile grew alongside Marshall's 2019 book Infiltration, whose promotional website, as quoted by Catholic World Report, argued that modernists and Marxists planned to subvert the Church from within (Catholic World Report). National Catholic Reporter described the book's thesis as a secret network of Freemasons and Communists infiltrating the Church, and reported that conservative Catholic outlets criticised it (National Catholic Reporter).

In July 2020 Catholic World Report wrote that Marshall's YouTube videos regularly drew more than 100,000 viewers, and noted a public dispute with Bishop Robert Barron, who reportedly called him an extremist (Catholic World Report); Marshall disputed that he had encouraged his supporters to attack Barron online (CNA). The show has also been criticised by other traditionalists: in 2022 the blog Rorate Caeli alleged that a 2019 episode about the Pachamama statues helped prompt Traditionis Custodes, an allegation summarised by the Aquila blog and not independently confirmed (Aquila).
